Oregon Youth Employment Program (OYEP)


Program Summary/Description

The Oregon Youth Employment Program (OYEP) is designed to prepare youth for and support them through a 200-hour work-based training activity in one of the four targeted private sectors in our local area (construction, healthcare, information technology, manufacturing) or the public sector. This may include work experience, occupational skills training or a pre-apprenticeship program.

  • Minimum 200 hours of work-based learning and/or work experience, and/or pre-workforce activities AND a minimum of five weeks.
  • Stipends cannot be paid with this funding.

  • October 15th, 2023 (Include Success Stories)
  • January 15th, 2024

  • July 15th, 2024 (Include Success Stories)
