The Mass Timber Regional Training Cluster creates pathways into our area’s growing mass timber industry. Our efforts promote career exploration and hands-on training, connecting participants with real-world experience and employment opportunities in this emerging sector.
Our programs focus on advancing local manufacturing and construction careers while linking jobseekers to quality positions within mass timber projects across the greater Portland Metro region — building the skilled workforce employers need and opening doors for jobseekers to enter this innovative and sustainable field.
Generous funding for the Mass Timber Regional Training Cluster provided by the U.S. Economic Development Administration Build Back Better Regional Challenge Grant program through the Port of Portland.
