Q: How long should it take me to complete the Juniper Networking Fundamentals course?
A: The total seat time for the course is 3-5 hours, but to understand and learn the content of the course may take longer. The expectation is that you will complete the course by week 9 of the training schedule. Please talk to your manager if you need more time to complete it.
Q: What certification do I receive for completing the course?
A: You do not receive a certification for completing this course. The reason this course has been assigned to you as part of the apprenticeship program is to address knowledge gaps related to networking before taking on more advanced study.
Work Process Tracking
Q: Should I track the time I spend while studying at home?
A: No, only time spent while being paid should be tracked. The purpose of the tracking sheet is to record your On-the-Job Training (OJT) hours. For example, if you work 40 hours, the total hours across all categories should equal 40.
Q: Can I input time for multiple weeks?
A: Yes, but we’d prefer you to enter time each week. The form will allow you to enter multiple weeks, but our dashboard calculates based on weekly input.
Q: What if I make a mistake on the form, how can I fix it?
A: Send an email to kishida@worksystems.org with the information that needs to be fixed.
