Program Summary/Description
The Oregon Youth Employment Program (OYEP) is designed to prepare youth for and support them through a 160-hour work-based training activity in one of the four prioritized private sectors in our local area (construction, healthcare, information technology, manufacturing) or the public sector. This may include work experience, occupational skills training or a pre-apprenticeship program.
- Minimum 160 hours of work-based learning and/or work experience, and/or pre-workforce activities AND a minimum of five weeks.
- Stipends cannot be paid with this funding.
