Course Description:

This basic training course provides students with an introduction to web technologies and an in-depth overview of Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) for the development of web-based projects. This is an elementary class to help students understand HTML, which is used for tagging text files to dictate font, color, graphic and hyperlink effects in web pages. We begin by discussing web development in general and the differences between HTML and XHTML. You will learn how to create links and add images to HTML documents. We move on to the creation of HTML tables and forms.

Upon completion of this introductory course, you will have the basic skills you need to start using HTML at work.
