Financial Literacy

What is it?

EVERFI: Financial Literacy for High School is the recommended program of study for Financial Literacy Education. EVERFI is a digital financial education program comprised of seven interactive lessons that translate complex financial concepts and help students develop actionable strategies for managing their finances. Lesson topics include Banking Basics, Income & Employment, Budgeting, Consumer Skills, Credit & Debt, Financing Higher Education, and Insurance.

Other Financial Literacy Education tools are permissible per the discretion of each contracted provider as long as they fulfill the listed learning objectives and engage the learner for a comparable amount of time.

Total Time: It is 7 lessons, 25-35 minutes each (3-4 hours total)

Who is the audience for EverFi Financial Literacy?

Customers of our Youth programs are the target audience.

How do you access EverFi Financial Literacy?

  1. Visit: everfi.com/register
  2. Input your agency’s registration code
  3. Follow the prompts to complete the account set up and access the course.

Venture: Entrepreneurial Expedition

Course Details: Introduce 7th – 10th grade students to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, from creating a business plan to performing market research, in this food-truck simulation.

Course Details: Available in Spanish and French. Vault: Understanding Money is a digital education program that teaches students how to make wise financial decisions and improve their social emotional skills like goal-setting and responsible decision making. The interactive lessons will engage learners in an immersive adventure that translates financial concepts into easy to apply experiences that help students develop strategies for managing future finances.
