Program Summary/Description

A Home for Everyone Economic Opportunity Program (AHFE EOP) serves low-income adult residents of Multnomah County who are homeless, formerly homeless, or at imminent risk of losing their housing and who want to engage in coaching, skill development and training to achieve their employment goals.

In PY25 beginning July 1, 2025, Career Coaches can refer customers for paid work opportunities designed to connect work-ready customers with entry-level positions in targeted industries or programs. Paid work opportunities are available in the following areas:

  • Child Care/Preschool – If interested in entry-level childcare or preschool positions in Multnomah and Washington Counties, customers can submit an interest form here. Please note: State of Oregon licensing regulations require individuals over the age of 18 to enroll in the State’s Central Background Registry prior to placement in a child care facility.
